A third mystery looms ahead for Laura and Bibiana.
Fans of Bibiana and Laura can look forward to Book 3 in the L/B mystery series, currently titled The Four Boxes (launch date late 2027.) The story begins when Laura starts receiving small, brown-paper-wrapped packages with no return address. After making a disturbing discovery in the first box, additional packages arrive with increasingly unsettling contents. As Laura’s concern grows, she and Bibiana set out to uncover who is behind the mysterious deliveries, embarking on a treacherous journey.
P.S. Please Find Her, Book 2 in the L/B mystery series is available on Amazon.com and BookBaby.com. Reading it will be beneficial in reading Book 3!

September 17th, 2026
On September 17th I had the honor of being the guest speaker at the Carlsbad Newcomer’s Club annual author luncheon held at the Green Dragon Tavern and Museum in Carlsbad. The audience was filled with wonderful Book Club members. My talk focused on what I learned about writing in the San Marcos Writers Group, and how I moved from an academic writer to the author of my two mystery novels, Private Clients and Please Find Her. A special thank you to Patty Guerra and the luncheon committee for organizing the event.
